VACANCY: Senior Geometric Engineer

 A Civil Engineering Consulting company with experience in the design and project management of civil engineering systems and infrastructure, in the built environment sector is looking for a Senior Design Geometric Engineer.

PURPOSE

To lead the design of large roads projects including works implemented under the FIDIC General Conditions of Project

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
  • BSc/BEng/ in Civil Engineering 
  • Registration with ECSA as a Professional Engineer (PrEng)
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • 10 years working experience with at least 5 years’ experience in geometric engineering projects.
  • A track record of successfully implementing civil engineering projects (Geometric)
  • 5 years of professional experience in the design of large civil projects including works implemented under the FIDIC General Conditions of Project.
  • Must have experience and knowledge of design software namely AutoCAD, Revit & Civil 3D will be advantageous.
COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
  • Ability to work within a multI-disciplinary project team
  • Ability to analyse situations & recommend solutions
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Has excellent organizational, time management & decision-making skills.
