NEWS: The World's 25 Tallest Buildings Currently Under Construction

Residents of NYC's 432 Park Avenue are suing the project developers for $125 million in damages citing “multiple floods, faulty elevators, “intolerable” noise caused by building sway, and an electrical explosion in June — the second in three years — that knocked out power to residents”. But while similar stories have been shared from London and China, skyscrapers continue to rise.

Responding to the global challenges of dense cities and the inability to cater to the world’s 7.8 billion population living and working in congested urban areas, architects have been exploring the skyscraper typology for decades now, integrating commercial spaces and public amenities within residential buildings to offer tenants an all-inclusive experience.

Read on to discover the 25 tallest buildings in the world currently under construction as well as their expected completion date.
