OPINION: How can Built Environment Professionals influence their industry? Sibongiseni Mbadamana

On this hardhatOPINION Sibongiseni Mbadamana an Operations and Maintenance Specialist  responds to the question how can Built Environment Professionals use their individual power to emulate the late Nelson Mandela as he has used his life to demonstrate that we all have individual power to make an impact in our environment.


To emulate the example set out by Nelson Mandela i.e. that each individual has the power to transform the world, Sibongiseni  Mbadamana believes that as Construction and Built Environment Professionals  we can stand together in making sure that in the course of doing our work that  we put the needs and interests of our people at the top of the agenda.. 


Sibongiseni believes this can only be achieved when we use our knowledge and provide the services diligently to the end user i.e. our communities, leaders should stop putting themselves first and start to put the needs of the majority of our people and this he believes will be a befitting  honor for the late Icon Mr Nelson Mandela.
